Course Details

Home Invasion Defense & Education 2 (HIDE-2) is a next-level 1-day class that builds on the knowledge and skills learned in HIDE-1.  Through technical drilling and scenario-based training, students will further exercise home defense concepts, defense-in-place strategies, and armed tactical movement inside one’s home.  Training topics include more in-depth close-quarters tactics for living spaces, negotiating hallways & doorways, room entry, searching for threats and family, verbal commands, partner tactics, managing and moving family members, hard-pointing, crisis evacuation, low-light applications, 4-Dimensional Firearm Defense, and reality-based home invasion scenarios.  Dye marking cartridge training includes “Force-on-Target” and “Force-on-Role-player” drilling, which allow students to exercise their tactics and decision making before exposure to Force-on-Force evolutions. Tactical training will be conducted in the Close-Quarters Battle Facilities located at PFC’s Pioneer Annex Range Complex.  All UTM Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) and use of converted weapons are INCLUDED in the course tuition.  No live weapons or ammunition are required.
