Does PFC train civilians?
Yes. PFC started training civilians in 1997 and hasn’t stopped. We currently conduct two “Open Enrollment” pistol series and two carbine series per year. One series of each during the Spring and Fall months. Each series of classes consists of 5- one day courses. You can enroll in any individual course or sign up for all five in the series to receive a discounted rate. Starting in 2020 we will be offering more one and two day civilian training classes.
How do I host a PFC Training course at my location?
Email info@pfctraining.com and let us know where you would like to host the class and how many people you have interested. PFC will get back to you with details such as pricing, instructor information, available dates and how hosting a course can benefit you, your group or department.
Does PFC Training accept the G.I. Bill?
PFC is proud to provide unparalleled training services to our nations finest military and first responders (active or retired). We are currently in the early stages of obtaining certification for the G.I. Bill.
Can I attend a PFC Training course if I am not a U.S. Citizen?
Due to U.S. Federal International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) PFC only provides training to United States Citizens.
Does PFC offer firearm rentals?
Yes. However, we strongly encourage you to bring your own firearms to a PFC Training course. If you require a firearm we can provide as pistol rental package to include Glock19 handgun, 3 magazines, holster and magazine pouch or a rifle rental package to include a carbine in the AR15 configuration, 3 magazines and magazine pouch. Students are always responsible for providing their own ammunition for a course. Ammunition can be purchased through PFC Loadout if desired. Please contact info@pfctraining.com if you require a pistol or rifle rental.
Does the course price include ammunition?
No. Course tuition includes instruction only. Students are responsible for providing their own ammunition for a course. Ammunition can be purchased through PFC Loadout if desired.
What hotel should I stay at when coming to Las Vegas for a PFC Course?
That depends on what course you are attending. PFC conducts courses at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, some classes at PFC-HQ near the airport and numerous classes at our Pioneer Annex Range Complex as well as other locations. We have developed the PFC Recommended Hotel Guide based on proximity to the class you will be attending and approximate travel times.
Does PFC have its own range and how far is it from Las Vegas?
Yes! The PFC Pioneer Annex Range Complex (PARC) is approximately 30 min South of Las Vegas via I-15. Directions to PARC are provided upon registration for a course.
Is there a minimum age to attend a PFC Training course?
18 years of age and older is recommended however in some cases 16 years and older may attend a PFC Training course if accompanied by a parent. This is determined on a case-by-case basis requiring prior approval.
