Tactical Driving Operations Course (TDOC)

Course Details

Proper usage of motor vehicles is critical in tactical and high-threat environments.  TDOC is an intensive 3-day course that introduces students to the principles, procedures, and counter-measures associated with vehicle operations during high stress, high-risk conditions.  Training includes vehicle dynamics, tactical driving practices, vehicle inspection & IED recognition, vehicle assault case studies, conducting route analysis and surveys, dynamic turning, emergency braking, accelerating & maneuvering, attack recognition & response, evasive driving skills, vehicle assault immediate action drills, convoy/motorcade operations, disabled driver take-overs, surveillance detection & counter-surveillance, collision avoidance drills, coordinated tactical driving amongst other vehicles, and a performance driving skills course.  If you support missions in semi-permissive or non-permissive environments, this training will make you a highly capable driver well suited for a myriad of emergencies.  If you operate internationally, then you are aware that the rest of the world has no respect for, or sense of traffic law and these skills are paramount.  This course will aid in making your operations and vehicle movements safe and successful.
