Course Details

With the increase in workplace violence, school shootings, and domestic terrorism across our nation, PFC has answered the call from numerous clients to develop and deliver this critical training designed to SAVE lives. Unlike other “active shooter” courses available, this training is for the general public, office workers, students, teachers, company or school employees, etc. Participants will learn best practices for how to assess, react to, and survive rapidly unfolding active violence events. Topics covered in this short interactive class include: Active Violence Case Studies & Analysis, Understanding Perpetrators & Warning Signs, General Awareness & Action, Environmental Safety & Security, Recognizing & Reacting to Evolving Events, The 3-Point Survival Plan, Communicating With Others, Making The 911 Call, Communicating With First Responders, Lockdown Measures vs. Evacuation, Individual Escape & Evacuation, Procedures For Evacuating Others, Lockdown & Barricade Procedures, Technical Instruction & Demonstrations, Practical Drilling and more.
