Course Overview

The five-day Individual and Team Tactics (IATT) course will provide officers with sound principles and reality-based practices to address non-compliant, physically combative, and suspects posing lethal threats to law enforcement officers. Topics covered include modern use of force and legal review, verbal de-escalation, individual officer and team defensive tactics, arrest and control procedures, communications, deployment of intermediate force / less-lethal options, high-risk pedestrian and vehicle stops, low-light operations, and force-on-force scenario-based training. With all training evolutions occurring, either dry or non-lethal training ammunition, drilling and scenarios will be rapid, intense, and continuous with little to no downtime. This curriculum provides a vital resource to officers, deputies, or agents looking to enhance and evolve officer safety or establish protocols and standard operating procedures.
