Course Overview

PFC’s Annex Range Complex is one of the nation’s premier tactical and firearms training facilities. Progressive FORCE Concepts has the unique ability to deliver this rarely trained but necessary skill. Students will have the opportunity to deploy the patrol carbine rifle at a high angle / low angle targets at various distances through this course. Other topics covered will include an in-depth rifle zeroing block, trajectory analysis, shooting positions, extreme distance, shooter/spotter teams, use of cover during high and low angle engagements, and specific drills concentrated on threat identification / rapid deployment.

Student Equipment

Serviceable carbine with minimum of three extra magazines and cleaning supplies
Carbine magazine carriage system to include belt pouches and or chest rig
300 rounds carbine ammunition
Duty belt with secure holster and magazine pouches*
Standard duty attire for conducting firearms training (weather-appropriate active wear, etc.)
Eye protection and electronic ear protection
Hat with brim and sturdy shoes applicable to range environment
Hydration and snacks
Note taking materials
* Blackhawk Serpa model holsters are strictly prohibited during live fire range training and banned in all PFC Training classes for safety reasons. For copies of PFC’s and the Federal Government’s policies regarding the use of Blackhawk Serpa holsters, contact PFC HQ.

Dining

Breaks/Lunch: Breaks will be offered throughout the class. Bring water and snacks for consumption during these breaks, if desired. There will be a “short” break for lunch.
