Course Overview

Extended ranges, angles of engagement, injuries, and barricades often require the usage of special positions and tactics to maximize fighting effectiveness. The proper understanding of mechanics, assumption, stability, protection, adaptation, and improvisation can dictate the outcome of a fight. Training topics include a review of Responsible, Safe & Compliant Concealed Carry Fundamentals, Combative Manipulations review, the Kneeling Series, the Guard Series, the Fetal Series, forward and vertical assumption, bilateral application, Principles of Using Barricades, Barricade Position Drills, Barricade Tactics, acquiring and vacating cover, Unorthodox Positions, and tactical shooting exercises. 

 

NOTE: Concealed Handgun Training is permitted in the state of Nevada per guidance from the State Attorney General deeming specific activities as essential. PFC’s training facility allows for published risk mitigation protocols & social distancing to be adhered to in a fresh air environment.

Enrollment: Open

 

Enrollment in any of the Concealed Handgun 1-3 classes and attend the 4/17/20 NV CCW+ class for $25! Discount code will be provided upon enrollment.

Student Equipment

Serviceable semi-automatic pistol
350-400 rounds (estimated) of serviceable pistol ammunition
Dominant-Side Belt or Paddle Holster ***
Three (3) pistol magazines and 2 magazine pouches (minimum)
Hearing Protection and Eye Protection
Hat with Brim
Sturdy shoes applicable to range environment
Clothing appropriate for outdoor range environment and weather conditions
Concealment Garment
*** Blackhawk Serpa model holsters (and/or SIMILAR) are strictly prohibited during live fire range training and banned in all PFC Training classes for safety reasons. For copies of PFC’s and the Federal Government’s policies regarding the use of Blackhawk Serpa holsters, contact PFC HQ.

Dining

There will be short breaks throughout the day. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks and H2O and lunch.
