Having the skillset to manipulate your carbine correctly and efficiently is what allows you time to solve problems and shoot accurately. Carbine Manipulations is a deep dive into emergency reloads, deliberate reloads, malfunctions and how to refunction the gun. This course provides the opportunity for students to obtain several repetitions on carbine manipulations to gain the skillset needed to confidently manipulate their carbine.

Preparatory Gun-Handling

Transitions

Emergency Reloads

Deliberate Reloads

Carbine Malfunctions/Refunction

Course/Student Equipment:

• Serviceable semi-automatic carbine 5.56 or .223 caliber preferred
• 300 rounds (estimated) of serviceable rifle ammunition
• Carbine magazine pouches/carry system, belt, or chest rig
• Sling (if desired)
• Three (3) Thirty Round carbine magazines
• Serviceable semi-automatic pistol
• 50 rounds (estimated) of serviceable pistol ammunition
• A sturdy belt & holster that is made specifically for the firearm you will be using is required.
• Three (3) pistol magazines and 2 magazine pouches (minimum)
• Hearing Protection and Eye Protection
• Hat with Brim, Clothing, and shoes appropriate for outdoor range environment and weather conditions
