Dr. Heather Thanepohn is the Clinical Program Manager for the Crisis Response Team (CRT) in Las Vegas, Nevada; CRT is a collaboration of government, private, and non-profit organizations providing on-scene medical and mental health responses to psychiatric emergencies dispatched through the 911 system. She has been working in clinical mental health since 2006, launching and directing innovative mental health and psychological wellness initiatives at local and national levels. Dr. Thanepohn’s educational background includes a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, a Masters of Social Work from the University of Nevada- Las Vegas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kansas. 

Dr. Thanepohn is passionate about the operational integration of mental health and mental health education.
