Border Security Operator Course (BSOC)

Course Details

The southern region of the United States remains a hostile, untamed land. Foreign incursions endlessly penetrate the border by way of overt, covert and innovative means. Motives fill the spectrum from personal betterment and employment prospects to nefarious narcotic and human trafficking.  These problems represent a considerable threat to our homeland security.  BSOC is a 4-day course of instruction that teaches the most current and relevant tactics, techniques and procedures for law enforcement and military units defending our southern border.  This instruction is focused on individual and team tactics in overland settings, weapons skills, and specialized training for personnel tasked with border security missions.  Training will also include night operations and low-light engagements, tactical trauma care, defensive measures and subject management, vehicle tactics, and full mission profile exercises.  BSOC is designed to make armed professionals safer and more effective at carrying out border security operations in unforgiving environments against unpredictable opposition.
