Anthony Shepherd, CPP
President, PFC Safeguards
Anthony (Tony) Shepherd, CPP is the President of PFC Safeguards. He is an expert security strategist specializing in high-end commercial and government protective services. He has extensive, diversified experience in both the business and daily operational aspects of providing protective services with a career spanning 35+ years, including 18 years with DOE/NNSA security and safeguarding programs. In addition to receiving a BS in Mechanical Sciences from Brighton College in Victoria Australia, Tony is an ASIS Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
Master Driving Instructor:
In addition to the daily management of PFC Safeguards, Tony has a long history and extensive expertise in driver training that is a direct support to PFC Training. Since the 1980s, Tony has been involved with driver training program development. Innovative ways to meet client demands and current threats that impact daily operations. Tony provides direct support with our seasoned team of lead instructors during PFC Training driving programs. These programs have been under his purview since 2005. Recently, PFC Training has moved into the future with direct support on autonomous vehicle programs for light and heavy-duty equipment. State of the art programs developed by PFC Training are considered on the leading edge of this new phase of next transportation revolution. Our training team has provided hundreds of driver assessments, training, testing and evaluation services to meet today’s needs.
Tony is a lifetime member of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). He has been training professional drivers and amateur racecar drivers since 1994. A graduate of over a dozen commercial and governmental driver training schools himself, Tony provides a valuable cross section of defensive and offensive vehicle dynamics expertise to meet our client’s needs. Having raced multiple times at the SCCA National Autocross Championships, the largest amateur auto race in the world, Tony’s knowledge, skills and abilities remain sharp in today’s demanding and changing environment.
