PFC’s Protective Pistol curriculum opens many eyes to the dynamics, complexities and nuances involved in responding to lethal attacks against our charges. But there is much more to consider and train for. Advanced Protective Pistol Skills (or APPS) expands on core topics by delving into multi-directional AOP drills, threat discrimination, multiple adversaries, protective trauma care (principal & self-aid), vehicular tactics, low-light DARE drills, and force-on-force scenarios. Training includes a written use-of-force exam and advanced live fire skills test to document the knowledge and performance of graduates. Demonstrate responsibility, reduce liability, and enhance your capability as a professional protection agent with this “next-level” instruction.
Pre-requisite: Students must possess prior occupational handgun training and be actively employed as an armed EP agent or protective services professional.
