Course Details

During personal security and executive protection operations, driving is not only a commonly used skill but also an opportunity to showcase either sound capabilities or a complete lack thereof.  Security Driving Foundation is a one-day intensive value-packed program designed to familiarize, educate and elevate the professional security driver.  This training offers skills to smoothly and calmly operate the vehicle under routine/administrative conditions and under more ambiguous emergency situations as well.  Through included testing and student-driver evaluations, the training scope is adjusted as required in order to extract at least 80% of the vehicle’s capabilities through measured assessment and combined driving exercises.  In addition to practical driving time, topics covered include security driving essentials, vehicle preparation, vehicle dynamics, route planning, arrivals & departures, collision avoidance, safe emergency maneuvers, and basic evasive driving skills.  For those who are unable to attend the full 3-day Protective Driving Operations Certification, this course is the ideal training opportunity.
