Designated Marksman Rifle Skills & Tactics (DSAT) – San Diego, CA

This two-day program will outline safe, proven,
and streamlined tactics for one or more individuals
to work reflexively and dynamically in open areas,
close quarters, and around vehicles.
Topics covered include:
DMR selection/components/setup
Support equipment
Zeroing physics and protocols
Self-supported positions
Environmentally supported positions
Fundamental ballistics
Reticle understanding
Rapid deployment
Bolster your individual and team capability with DSAT.
Any law enforcement officers involved in patrol, high-risk operations,
fugitive recovery, or motorcades can benefit from this training.
Student Equipment
Semi-automatic carbine w/at least three (30 round) magazines
400 rounds of quality carbine ammunition for each day of training
Carbine Sling (if desired, NOT required)
Carbine magazine pouches/carry system (belt or chest mounted)
Semi-automatic pistol w/ at least 2 magazines (optional for PC1)
100 rounds handgun ammunition (optional for PC1)
Dominant-side belt holster and support-side magazine carrier ***
Hearing and Eye protection (to include clear eye protection for training after dusk)
Knee and/or elbow pads (if desired)
Sunscreen (if desired)
*** Blackhawk Serpa model holsters are strictly prohibited during live fire range training and banned in all PFC Training classes for safety reasons. For copies of PFC’s and the Federal Government’s policies regarding the use of Blackhawk Serpa holsters, contact PFC HQ
Dining
Breaks will be offered throughout the class. Bring sufficient water and snacks for consumption during these breaks, if desired. Dining off-site will not be available during lunchtime, so it is recommended that you bring lunch with you for the day.
Enrollment: Open to qualified citizens, law enforcement, security personnel, Department of Defense, and government agencies/contractors.
