This format allows students to focus on the safe and practical use of a concealed handgun during protective operations. Students will learn individual firearms tactics as they apply to third-person/principal defense. \n  \nThe primary goal of PSOC is to educate and train those tasked with protective operations professionally. Regardless of background or current assignment\, students are trained to operate as a team. It is critical that protection agents exhibit professionalism\, demonstrate fluid proficiency\, and act with confidence in their abilities. To achieve and enforce this\, students are held to a high standard and expected to perform during training. This is a certification course where various forms of testing and evaluation are utilized to measure the requisite knowledge\, skills\, and abilities for graduation. DESCRIPTION:Executive Protection or personal security specialists wear many hats during the execution of their duties\, and being a first responder to medical emergencies is no exception.  Challenges can include minor bumps and bruises\, injuries to associates or family\, care in austere environments\, attacks on the principal\, and self-initiated evacuation.  Day 1 of TCAIR-EP is a full 8-hours focused on protection-centric trauma management\, tools\, techniques\, and treatment procedures.  Training prepares personal security professionals for first response to physical trauma and medical emergencies on the street\, in venues\, in vehicles\, on travel\, or at the principal’s residence.  In addition to trauma care\, students will receive instruction in CPR\, Basic First Aid\, and AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator).  Day 2 is an additional eight hours of scenario-based training designed to expose students to greater ambiguity\, fluidity\, and decision-making.  Through moulage\, non-lethal training munitions\, trained role-players\, varying conditions of light\, and many other artificial stressors\, training is brought into a new realm of realism and effectiveness. NAEMT\, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians\, recognizes all PFC TCAIR training. DESCRIPTION:Prepare yourself for the growing risk of threats we face every day in the United States. We never know when or where a threat will present itself\, so you need to be ready. Trauma immediate response will give you the skills necessary to survive a hostile situation providing the necessary first steps to take when a person has been injured. This course will cover assessing a patient while prioritizing and identifying critical life-threatening injuries and treatment. We will give you the tools to assist during a traumatic medical emergency. As an armed professional\, service member\, or first responder\, being medically capable is required for survival and saving lives. And if you are a civilian\, you may need to treat yourself or your loved ones during a time-sensitive trauma scenario. Understanding anatomy\, methods\, and critical equipment can distinguish between life and death. Anyone can make a dramatic lifesaving impact during high-priority events and emergencies if equipped with the right medical training. Day 1 of TCAIR is a full 8-hour focused on common trauma management\, tools\, techniques\, and treatment procedures. Training prepares students for immediate response to physical trauma and medical emergencies in all environments. Day 2 of TCAIR includes pediatric emergencies\, operations in Hot and Warm zones\, and finally\, a half-day of scenario-based training designed to expose students to greater ambiguity\, fluidity\, and decision-making. Through moulage\, non-lethal training munitions\, trained role-players\, varying conditions of light\, and many other artificial stressors\, training is brought into a new realm of realism and effectiveness. DESCRIPTION:Executive Protection or personal security specialists wear many hats during the execution of their duties\, and being a first responder to medical emergencies is no exception.  Challenges can include minor bumps and bruises\, injuries to associates or family\, care in austere environments\, attacks on the principal\, and self-initiated evacuation.  Day 1 of TCAIR-EP is a full 8-hours focused on protection-centric trauma management\, tools\, techniques\, and treatment procedures.  Training prepares personal security professionals for first response to physical trauma and medical emergencies on the street\, in venues\, in vehicles\, on travel\, or at the principal’s residence.  In addition to trauma care\, students will receive instruction in CPR\, Basic First Aid\, and AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator).  Day 2 is an additional eight hours of scenario-based training designed to expose students to greater ambiguity\, fluidity\, and decision-making.  Through moulage\, non-lethal training munitions\, trained role-players\, varying conditions of light\, and many other artificial stressors\, training is brought into a new realm of realism and effectiveness. NAEMT\, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians\, recognizes all PFC TCAIR training.
