SUMMARY:Nevada Armed Security Officer Certification (NASOC) - Las Vegas\, NV
DESCRIPTION:This two-day program exceeds Nevada’s required course content and qualification standards for security firearms training. PFC’s brand and reputation depend on the performance of our graduating students. Our student’s life and livelihood may depend upon their ability to perform properly on demand. Accordingly\, this PFC presentation of the Nevada Armed Guard Card training is 16 hours in duration\, and it contains additional content that is imperative for preparing students to carry (and potentially use) a firearm in the conduct of their official duties. The professional instruction delivered is both academic and practical in nature with an emphasis on responsible gun handling\, security officer conduct\, and use-of-force decision-making Graduates must successfully pass a state-mandated written examination and a state-approved qualification course of fire in order to receive their NV Armed Guard Card. The possession of this card does not entitle the bearer to carry their firearm concealed. Successful completion of this course\, however\, will satisfy Nevada CW’s training requirements should students have a need or desire to obtain an NV CW permit (or renew it). As an even greater bonus\, students will also receive training in select instructional blocks from the Progressive Handgun 1 (PH1) curriculum that focuses on the “Fighting Foundation of modern defensive pistol skills. Participants in this course will receive the highest standard of Armed Security Officer training presently offered anywhere in the State of Nevada. Security personnel completing ASOC will be distinguished as being safer\, more highly trained\, and capable of better judgment thereby reducing the risk for employers\, clients\, and the public. Successful graduates of this program will earn Nevada Armed Security Guard Card Training and Nevada Concealed Carry Weapons Training certificates. \nNOTE: Students attending must bring a properly completed State of Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board “Verification of Employment for Armed Security” Form or provisional paper\, their driver’s license\, and their valid Nevada Registration Work Card issued by PILB (not Clark County) that states “Unarmed.” Students MUST present these documents to the instructor at the beginning of class\, or they will not be allowed to participate in training. \nLength: 2 Days \nSpecific start times will be given upon registration. \nEnrollment: Open to qualified citizens\, security personnel\, government employees and contractors\, and Department of Defense \nPre-requisite: None \nPFC Annex Range Complex (PARC)

DESCRIPTION:Full Spectrum Operator Course (FSOC) is an intensive 5-day training experience for units and tactical personnel tasked with operating in high-risk environments. Widely known as PFC’s flagship tactical training course\, numerous after-action reports credit FSOC with saving the lives of them and their teammates. The material covered includes combative handgun skills\, combative carbine skills\, low-light shooting skills & fighting at night\, tactical trauma care\, live-fire team tactics\, vehicular assault & counter-ambush tactics\, structure clearing strategies & Close Quarters Battle\, mechanical breaching\, NFDD deployment\, tactical rescues\, reconnaissance and mission planning\, overland team tactics and maneuver drills\, critical combatives skills in full kit\, and full mission profile exercises. No other course offers the breadth and depth of this curriculum under such compressed and realistic conditions. Upon customer request\, FSOC can be run as a certification course for personnel selection and/or standards testing that includes written and practical formalized evaluations. \nCourse Objectives:  \n1. To markedly improve individual and team battle skills through an introduction to the latest fight-winning tactics. \n2. DESCRIPTION:  \nRed Dot Handgun is a 5hr course designed to help students transition from traditional iron sights to a Red Dot Sight (RDS) mounted handgun. An emphasis will be placed on dot acquisition techniques and accurate engagement from 3 to 35+ yards. Additional topics include red dot pistol-specific manipulation and “dot-down” procedures for when the Red Dot Sight malfunctions\, fails\, or is occluded. SUMMARY:Nevada Armed Security Officer Certification (NASOC) - Las Vegas\, NV
DESCRIPTION:This two-day program exceeds Nevada’s required course content and qualification standards for security firearms training. PFC’s brand and reputation depend on the performance of our graduating students. Our student’s life and livelihood may depend upon their ability to perform properly on demand. Accordingly\, this PFC presentation of the Nevada Armed Guard Card training is 16 hours in duration\, and it contains additional content that is imperative for preparing students to carry (and potentially use) a firearm in the conduct of their official duties. The professional instruction delivered is both academic and practical in nature with an emphasis on responsible gun handling\, security officer conduct\, and use-of-force decision-making Graduates must successfully pass a state-mandated written examination and a state-approved qualification course of fire in order to receive their NV Armed Guard Card. The possession of this card does not entitle the bearer to carry their firearm concealed. Successful completion of this course\, however\, will satisfy Nevada CW’s training requirements should students have a need or desire to obtain an NV CW permit (or renew it). As an even greater bonus\, students will also receive training in select instructional blocks from the Progressive Handgun 1 (PH1) curriculum that focuses on the “Fighting Foundation of modern defensive pistol skills. Participants in this course will receive the highest standard of Armed Security Officer training presently offered anywhere in the State of Nevada. Security personnel completing ASOC will be distinguished as being safer\, more highly trained\, and capable of better judgment thereby reducing the risk for employers\, clients\, and the public. Successful graduates of this program will earn Nevada Armed Security Guard Card Training and Nevada Concealed Carry Weapons Training certificates. \nNOTE: Students attending must bring a properly completed State of Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board “Verification of Employment for Armed Security” Form or provisional paper\, their driver’s license\, and their valid Nevada Registration Work Card issued by PILB (not Clark County) that states “Unarmed.” Students MUST present these documents to the instructor at the beginning of class\, or they will not be allowed to participate in training. \nLength: 2 Days \n  \nEnrollment: Open to qualified citizens\, security personnel\, government employees and contractors\, and Department of Defense \n  \nPre-requisite: None \n
