PPS allows students to focus on a concealed handgun’s safe and practical use during protective operations.  \nTraining includes: \n\nCombative handgun skills applicable to personal security\nPrincipal Cover & Control Techniques\nLone Agent Protective Shooting (LAPS) Drills\nDetail Assault Response & Evacuation (DARE) Drills\nThe PSOC/PPS Live Fire Skills Test***\n\nStudents will learn both individual and team-based tactics with firearms as they apply to third-person/principal defense.  \n  \n*Protection Agent Development (PAD) and Protective Pistol Skills (PPS) comprise the PSOC curriculum.  \n  \n*** Please note the following critical information regarding Protective Pistol Skills (PPS):\nPPS is an advanced program\, it is NOT a “how to shoot course.” All students must have a solid base of combative level handgun skills upon arrival. \n  \nThese skills include but are not limited to: \n1. Presenting the firearm safely from concealment\n2. Engage multiple areas on the body to include headshots from intermediate distances\n3. Accurately shoot one-handed\n4. Operate on a fluid/dynamic range\n5. Safely operate in close proximity to others \n  \nThose who arrive without the requisite skill level run a high risk of removal from training for cause and a higher level of failing to pass the live-fire skills test. The pace of the program will be subjective\, based upon PFC protocols and group aptitude. Students must maintain a safe pace with their peers. It is critical that students bring ALL items of prescribed equipment to the program. DESCRIPTION:Despite the proliferation of concealed carry weapon licenses issued for responsible citizens or security professionals\, none of these programs teach or train the end-user Combative Concealed Handgun (CCH) to work with and from a covered weapon. Also\, off-duty or plainclothes law enforcement officers do not receive adequate training from their agencies when it comes to carrying and drawing their concealed weapons. This one-day program is designed to teach the necessary skills to safely carry and dynamically present a handgun from concealment during use-of-force encounters. Students will be taught different techniques for deploying their handgun from a variety of concealed carry methods and positions. DESCRIPTION:The PFC “TCAIR” training program aims to span the bridge of job\, environment\, and mission-specific in-extremis pre-hospitalization trauma care (at times under fire) for individuals of all skill levels. As an armed professional\, service member\, or first responder\, being medically capable is required for survival and saving lives. And if you are a civilian\, you may need to treat yourself or your loved ones during a time-sensitive trauma scenario. Understanding anatomy\, methods\, and critical equipment can literally spell the difference between life and death. Anyone can make a dramatic lifesaving impact during high-priority events and emergencies if they are equipped with the right medical training. Day-1 of TCAIR is a full 8-hours focused on common trauma management\, tools\, techniques\, and treatment procedures. Training prepares students for immediate response to physical trauma and medical emergencies in all types of environments. DESCRIPTION:PFC’s TFIC is an intensive 5-day program designed to impart modern handgun and carbine instruction to already proficient operators.  TFIC exemplifies the core of PFC doctrine with a graduation standard that requires more than any other state\, local\, military\, federal or commercial firearms certification.  Students must successfully pass 6 examinations scoring no lower than 100% on 1 and no lower than 90% on the remaining 5; this is not a “gentlemen’s course.”  Training includes safety\, instructor development\, risk analysis\, remediation\, development of live fire evolutions\, as well as progressive operation of the handgun and carbine systems during tactical encounters.  Evaluations consist of a comprehensive written exam\, dry fire Limited Scope Performance Test (LSPT)\, Live Fire Skills Test (LFST)\, classroom presentation\, student-led live fire evolution\, and construction of a hazard-mitigating Risk Analysis Tool.  Graduates will be able to safely instruct students in handgun and carbine tactical fundamentals as well as develop and run essential live fire evolutions.  As some material is of a sensitive nature\, TFIC applicants are screened on a case-by-case basis.  NOTE: TFIC is not a “how to shoot” course\, and as such\, students who lack superior skills upon arrival stand a very low chance of successfully completing the Live Fire Skills Test\, which will only be administered a limited number of times.  Registered applicants may request a copy of this skills test for practice prior to the course. \n  \nDue to the proprietary information taught in this program\, TFIC applicants are screened on a case-by-case basis. DESCRIPTION:FSOC is an intensive 5-day training experience for units and tactical personnel tasked with operating in high-risk environments.  Widely known as PFC’s flagship tactical training course\, numerous after-action reports credit FSOC with saving the lives of them and their teammates.  The material covered includes combative handgun skills\, combative carbine skills\, low-light shooting skills & fighting at night\, tactical trauma care\, live-fire team tactics\, vehicular assault & counter-ambush tactics\, structure clearing strategies & Close Quarters Battle\, mechanical breaching\, NFDD deployment\, tactical rescues\, reconnaissance and mission planning\, overland team tactics and maneuver drills\, critical combative skills in full kit\, and full mission profile exercises.  No other course offers the breadth and depth of this curriculum under such compressed and realistic conditions.  Upon customer request\, FSOC can be run as a certification course for personnel selection and/or standards testing that includes both written and practical formalized evaluations. \n  \nContact PFC to schedule an FSOC- Custom course for your unit\, team\, or department: CONTACT
