SUMMARY:Combative Concealed Handgun (CCH) - Las Vegas\, NV
DESCRIPTION:Despite the proliferation of concealed carry weapon licenses being issued for responsible citizens or security professionals\, none of these programs teach or train the end user to work with and from a covered weapon. Off-duty or plainclothes law enforcement officers do not receive adequate training from their agencies regarding carrying and drawing concealed weapons. Combative Concealed Handgun (CCH) is a one-day program designed to teach the necessary skills to safely carry and dynamically present a handgun from concealment during use-of-force encounters. Students will be taught different techniques for deploying their handguns from various concealed carry methods and positions. Topics covered will include wardrobe selection and modification\, support equipment\, legal considerations\, use of force doctrine\, methods of concealment and deployment\, progressive handgun skills\, intensive concealed weapon drilling\, and unconventional tactics for accessing and fighting with a concealed handgun. This course is a must for any responsible concealed weapon carrier. \nIMPORTANT NOTES:  \n\nTRAVELING – If you are traveling from out of town\, please contact Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com or call 702-647-1126\, to confirm enrollment requirements for the course have been met BEFORE booking any travel. \nWEAPON RENTALS – If you require weapon rentals from PFC\, please be sure to add the rental to your ticket at the time of purchase\, and immediately notify Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com or call 702-647-1126\, to confirm rental availability and pickup details. \nAMMO – If you require ammo from PFC Loadout\, please purchase at pfcloadout.com\, adding course name and date in the notes\, and notify Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com or call 702-647-1126\, to confirm availability and pickup details. \nDEADLINE – Rentals and ammo MUST be purchased NLT 2 days prior to the course beginning. \nQUESTIONS – If you have any questions or concerns\, please feel reach to reach out to Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com\, Instructor\, Brittany Mandara at Brittanymae@pfcgoc.com\, or call 702-647-1126.\n\nPre-requisite: None \n  \nEnrollment: Open \n

SUMMARY:Protective Security Operations Certification (PSOC) - Las Vegas
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nPSOC is designed exclusively for private security\, Federal Government\, DoD\, and law enforcement professionals interested in learning modern methods for executive protection and personal security of high net-worth or ‘at-risk’ individuals. This five-day certification program is approved for training by multiple Federal Government\, state\, and corporate organizations and is the only major university-accredited protective services training program in the United States. \n  \nPSOC consists of (2) two training modules: Protection Agent Development (four days) and Protective Pistol Skills (one day). \n  \nProtection Agent Development (PAD) teaches contemporary skills for low visibility personal security in permissive to semi-permissive environments where a low to moderate threat exists. This highly academic and practical application-based training course creates a comprehensive and balanced foundation for prospective or current members of protective details. The subject matter comprises the most progressive and relevant doctrine for individuals seeking instruction in new EP practices. \n  \nProtective Pistol Skills (PPS) is the weapons-centric component of PSOC and is entirely range-based. This format allows students to focus on the safe and practical use of a concealed handgun during protective operations. Students will learn individual firearms tactics as they apply to third-person/principal defense. \n  \nThe primary goal of PSOC is to educate and train those tasked with protective operations professionally. Regardless of background or current assignment\, students are trained to operate as a team. It is critical that protection agents exhibit professionalism\, demonstrate fluid proficiency\, and act with confidence in their abilities. To achieve and enforce this\, students are held to a high standard and expected to perform during training. This is a certification course where various forms of testing and evaluation are utilized to measure the requisite knowledge\, skills\, and abilities for graduation. Attendance does not guarantee completion. Protection Agent Development (Module 1) and Protective Pistol Skills (Module 2) may be taken separately if desired. However\, both modules must be completed within 12 months to earn the full PSOC certificate. \n  \nPre-requisite: None. \n  \nEnrollment: Open to active security professionals\, law enforcement\, the Department of Defense\, government agencies\, eligible government contractors\, and approved civilians with a security industry affiliation. \n  \nAll applicants must be approved to register: \nPlease submit a Restricted Program Approval Request \nA course registration link will be sent upon approval.  \n  \nCommercial Cost: $2\,025.00 \n  \nGSA Cost: $1\,316.00 \n  \nSTUDENT EQUIPMENT LIST: \n  \nPAD Module 1 List:\nCasual attire for classroom and field training\nBusiness-Casual attire for final exercise (slacks\, collared shirt\, jacket\, etc.)\nSmall hand-held flashlight\n3×5 notebook w/ pen\nCellular phone\nLaptop/Computer Tablet (Strongly Recommended) \n  \nPPS Module 2 Equipment List:\nStandard range attire while conducting firearms training (weather-appropriate activewear\, etc.)\nSemi-automatic pistol w/ at least three magazines \n400 rounds of handgun ammunition\nStrong-side belt or paddle concealment holster **\nSupport-side concealment magazine carrier(s)\nBelt for range work compatible w/ holster and magazine carrier\nEye protection for day conditions and Ear protection\nHat with brim\nSturdy footwear for range \nCover garments such as a vest or light jacket (for concealment drills)

SUMMARY:Fundamental Shotgun Skills (FSS) - Las Vegas\, NV

Contrary to popular belief\, the shotgun doesn’t have to “beat you up” when using the proper technique. Learn to be a competent shotgun operator without the fear or pain commonly associated with this firearm. Students will receive a mixture of lecture\, practical\, and live-fire instruction to familiarize them with their shotgun\, how it works\, and how to consistently achieve accurate first-round hits on target. FSS is excellent for beginners looking to learn new skills or shooters looking to fine-tune previously learned skills. This is a good prep course for any PFC Progressive Shotgun Series classes. \n  \nCourse content will include but is not limited to the following: \n\nFirearms & Range Safety – Learn proper firearm safety and handling techniques on and off the range.\nShotgun Nomenclature – Learn the different parts of your shotgun so you can handle and shoot it better.\nShotgun Maintenance – Keep your shotgun maintained\, so it functions when needed.\nPreparatory Handling  – Learn best practices for loading\, status checking\, and unloading your shotgun.\nMounting and Recoil Mitigation – How to shoot the shotgun in a way that doesn’t beat you up and allows you to enjoy shooting!\nFundamentals of Marksmanship and Self Patterning – Learn that there’s more to the shotgun than just pointing it and pressing the trigger. Understand how your shotgun with your ammunition “patterns” so you are accountable for all projectiles when fired.\n\n
