SUMMARY:Nevada Armed Security Officer Certification (NASOC) - Las Vegas\, NV
DESCRIPTION:This two-day program exceeds Nevada’s required course content and qualification standards for security firearms training. PFC’s brand and reputation depend on the performance of our graduating students. Our student’s life and livelihood may depend upon their ability to perform properly on demand. Accordingly\, this PFC presentation of the Nevada Armed Guard Card training is 16 hours in duration\, and it contains additional content that is imperative for preparing students to carry (and potentially use) a firearm in the conduct of their official duties. The professional instruction delivered is both academic and practical in nature with an emphasis on responsible gun handling\, security officer conduct\, and use-of-force decision-making Graduates must successfully pass a state-mandated written examination and a state-approved qualification course of fire in order to receive their NV Armed Guard Card. The possession of this card does not entitle the bearer to carry their firearm concealed. Successful completion of this course\, however\, will satisfy Nevada CW’s training requirements should students have a need or desire to obtain an NV CW permit (or renew it). As an even greater bonus\, students will also receive training in select instructional blocks from the Progressive Handgun 1 (PH1) curriculum that focuses on the “Fighting Foundation of modern defensive pistol skills. Participants in this course will receive the highest standard of Armed Security Officer training presently offered anywhere in the State of Nevada. Security personnel completing ASOC will be distinguished as being safer\, more highly trained\, and capable of better judgment thereby reducing the risk for employers\, clients\, and the public. Successful graduates of this program will earn Nevada Armed Security Guard Card Training and Nevada Concealed Carry Weapons Training certificates. \nNOTE: Students attending must bring a properly completed State of Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board “Verification of Employment for Armed Security” Form or provisional paper\, their driver’s license\, and their valid Nevada Registration Work Card issued by PILB (not Clark County) that states “Unarmed.” Students MUST present these documents to the instructor at the beginning of class\, or they will not be allowed to participate in training. \nLength: 2 Days \n  \nEnrollment: Open to qualified citizens\, security personnel\, government employees and contractors\, and Department of Defense \n  \nPre-requisite: None \n

SUMMARY:Protective Security Operations Certification (PSOC) - Las Vegas
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nPSOC is designed exclusively for private security\, Federal Government\, DoD\, and law enforcement professionals interested in learning modern methods for executive protection and personal security of high net-worth or ‘at-risk’ individuals. This five-day certification program is approved for training by multiple Federal Government\, state\, and corporate organizations and is the only major university-accredited protective services training program in the United States. \n  \nPSOC consists of (2) two training modules: Protection Agent Development (four days) and Protective Pistol Skills (one day). \n  \nProtection Agent Development (PAD) teaches contemporary skills for low visibility personal security in permissive to semi-permissive environments where a low to moderate threat exists. This highly academic and practical application-based training course creates a comprehensive and balanced foundation for prospective or current members of protective details. The subject matter comprises the most progressive and relevant doctrine for individuals seeking instruction in new EP practices. \n  \nProtective Pistol Skills (PPS) is the weapons-centric component of PSOC and is entirely range-based. This format allows students to focus on the safe and practical use of a concealed handgun during protective operations. Students will learn individual firearms tactics as they apply to third-person/principal defense. \n  \nThe primary goal of PSOC is to educate and train those tasked with protective operations professionally. Regardless of background or current assignment\, students are trained to operate as a team. It is critical that protection agents exhibit professionalism\, demonstrate fluid proficiency\, and act with confidence in their abilities. To achieve and enforce this\, students are held to a high standard and expected to perform during training. This is a certification course where various forms of testing and evaluation are utilized to measure the requisite knowledge\, skills\, and abilities for graduation. Attendance does not guarantee completion. Protection Agent Development (Module 1) and Protective Pistol Skills (Module 2) may be taken separately if desired. However\, both modules must be completed within 12 months to earn the full PSOC certificate. \n  \nPre-requisite: None. \n  \nEnrollment: Open to active security professionals\, law enforcement\, the Department of Defense\, government agencies\, eligible government contractors\, and approved civilians with a security industry affiliation. \n  \nAll applicants must be approved to register: \nPlease submit a Restricted Program Approval Request \nA course registration link will be sent upon approval.  \n  \nCommercial Cost: $2\,025.00 per student \n  \nGSA Cost: $$1\,381.80 per student \n  \nSTUDENT EQUIPMENT LIST: \n  \nPAD Module 1 List:\nCasual attire for classroom and field training\nBusiness-Casual attire for final exercise (slacks\, collared shirt\, jacket\, etc.)\nSmall hand-held flashlight\n3×5 notebook w/ pen\nCellular phone\nLaptop/Computer Tablet (Strongly Recommended) \n  \nPPS Module 2 Equipment List:\nStandard range attire while conducting firearms training (weather-appropriate activewear\, etc.)\nSemi-automatic pistol w/ at least three magazines \n400 rounds of handgun ammunition\nStrong-side belt or paddle concealment holster **\nSupport-side concealment magazine carrier(s)\nBelt for range work compatible w/ holster and magazine carrier\nEye protection for day conditions and Ear protection\nHat with brim\nSturdy footwear for range \nCover garments such as a vest or light jacket (for concealment drills)

SUMMARY:Tactical Firearms Instructor Certification - Handgun (TFIC-H) - Las Vegas\, NV
DESCRIPTION:PFC’s TFIC-H is a complete 4-day pistol instructor program designed to impart the fundamentals of teaching handgun skills and managing pistol training for armed professionals. TFIC-H standards currently exceed every state\, military\, federal\, or commercial firearms certification process. Students must successfully pass six examinations scoring no lower than 100% on one and no lower than 90% on the remaining 5. Training includes safety\, instructor development\, risk analysis\, remediation\, development of live fire evolutions\, as well as progressive operation of the semi-automatic handgun weapon system. Evaluations include a comprehensive written exam\, dry fire Limited Scope Performance Test (LSPT)\, Live Fire Skills Test (LFST)\, classroom presentation\, student-led live fire evolution\, and construction of a hazard-mitigating Risk Analysis Tool. SUMMARY:Protective Security Operations Certification (PSOC) - San Jose\, CA
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nPSOC is designed exclusively for private security\, Federal Government\, DoD\, and law enforcement professionals interested in learning modern methods for executive protection and personal security of high net-worth or ‘at-risk’ individuals. Students will learn individual and team-based firearms tactics as they apply to third-person/principal defense. \nIMPORTANT NOTES:  \n\nTRAVELING – If you are traveling from out of town\, please contact Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com or call 702-647-1126\, to confirm enrollment requirements for the course have been met BEFORE booking any travel. \nWEAPON RENTALS – If you require weapon rentals from PFC\, please be sure to add the rental to your ticket at the time of purchase\, and immediately notify Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com or call 702-647-1126\, to confirm rental availability and pickup details. \nAMMO – If you require ammo from PFC Loadout\, please purchase at pfcloadout.com\, adding course name and date in the notes\, and notify Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com or call 702-647-1126\, to confirm availability and pickup details. \nDEADLINE – Rentals and ammo MUST be purchased NLT 2 days prior to the course beginning. \nQUESTIONS – If you have any questions or concerns\, please feel reach to reach out to Training Coordinator\, Amanda Dunn at Amanda@pfcgoc.com\, Instructor\, Brittany Mandara at Brittanymae@pfcgoc.com\, or call 702-647-1126.\n\n\nPre-requisite: None. \nEnrollment: Open to active security professionals\, law enforcement\, the Department of Defense\, government agencies\, eligible government contractors\, and approved civilians with a security industry affiliation. \n  \nAll applicants must be approved to register: \nPlease submit a Restricted Program Approval Request \nA course registration link will be sent upon approval.  \n  \nCommercial Cost: $2\,025.00 \nGSA Cost: $1\,316.00 \n
