SUMMARY:Combative Concealed Handgun (CCH)
DESCRIPTION:Despite the proliferation of concealed carry weapon licenses being issued for responsible citizens or security professionals\, none of these programs teach or train the end user to work with and from a covered weapon. Also\, off-duty or plainclothes law enforcement officers do not receive adequate training from their agencies when it comes to carrying and drawing their concealed weapons. This one-day program is designed to teach the necessary skills to safely carry and dynamically present a handgun from concealment during use-of-force encounters. Students will be taught different techniques for deploying their weapon from a variety of concealed carry methods and positions. Topics covered will include wardrobe selection and modification\, support equipment\, legal considerations\, use of force doctrine\, methods of concealment and deployment\, progressive handgun skills\, intensive concealed weapon drilling\, and unconventional tactics for accessing and fighting with a concealed handgun. This course is a must for any responsible concealed weapon carrier. \n  \nPre-requisite: None \n  \nEnrollment: Open \n

SUMMARY:Nevada CCW Certification
DESCRIPTION:This one-day class meets and exceeds Nevada’s required course content and qualification standard for Concealed Carry Weapon License training.  PFC’s brand and reputation depend on the performance of our graduating students.  Accordingly\, this PFC presentation of the Nevada Concealed Carry Weapons Course contains additional content that is imperative for preparing students to carry (and potentially use) a firearm in the defense of themselves\, or others.  The professional instruction delivered is both academic and practical in nature\, with an emphasis on responsible gun handling\, personal conduct\, and use-of-force decision-making.  In addition to CCW application assistance\, a state mandated written test and state approved qualification course of fire are administered.  Additional training and range time is spent introducing students to defensive handgun skills or enhancing skill-sets already possessed. \n  \nLength: 1 Day \n  \nEnrollment: Open to qualified citizens\, security personnel\, government employees and contractors\, and Department of Defense \n  \nPre-requisite: None \n
