James Caldwell

Senior Staff Instructor


James Caldwell brings over a decade of active-duty military experience to PFC. James obtained his bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences with honors from the United States Air Force Academy in 2009. Upon commissioning, he declined a lucrative offer to become an Air Force pilot to pursue a career in the elite community of Air Force Combat Control.

Mr. Caldwell has led teams of 200+ personnel, deploying multiple times to combat zones in the Middle East in operational and command roles. Mr. Caldwell is a Joint Terminal Attack Control Instructor, possessing skills in direct action, military freefall, combat dive, and humanitarian assistance. Upon completing his tenure as a Team Leader at the 21st Special Tactics Squadron, James assumed the role of Detachment Commander for the Joint Special Operations Terminal Attack Controller Course (SOTACC).

James also led the Air Force Special Operations program for Assessments and Recruiting, as well as the Director of Operations for the Special Tactics Training Squadron. James continues his military career in the National Guard supporting the 131st Rescue Squadron out of Moffett Field, CA.

James is a Senior Staff Instructor with PFC specializing in weapons and tactical operations for Defense Programs training.
