David Covel

Staff Instructor


Bringing over 16 years’ experience in the United States Air Force as a Team Leader/Instructor Pararescueman, and serving in roles including DA raids, combat search and rescue, humanitarian relief, and civil search and rescue. Outside of Active Duty he has operated in diplomatic security, NGO training, humanitarian operations, military and civil parachute instruction, and executive protection.

Over the course of his military and civilian career, David has supported NASA shuttle launches, White House assets and dignitary travel, combined joint training in SOF skills with foreign teams, as well as technical rescue and field medical care. He holds an Associates Degree in Personnel Recovery through CCAF, and further certifications as an FAA Senior Rigger and USPA Instructor.

First discovering PFC as a military FSOC student, David believes in the instruction and teaching methodology offered by PFC Training and serves as a Staff Instructor for Tactical and Medical courses He also supports PFC Safeguards when available.
