
Braden Schrag
Senior Advisor, Special Projects
Braden Schrag is an accomplished business and law enforcement professional bringing to PFC two decades of education, training, and experience. Throughout his career, he has developed strong abilities in leading, managing, mentoring and positively influencing organizations at all levels. He is also a highly regarded trainer and agency advisor with local, regional, and national level experience.
Braden’s law enforcement experience with a major metropolitan police department ultimately led to a government liaison position with the department’s intergovernmental services section; reporting directly to the agency’s chief executive. In this appointed role, he interfaces with domestic and international law enforcement entities representing the interests of the organization as well as addressing legislative matters impacting public safety.
In his preceding post, Braden worked in homeland security where he was part of an appointed, hand-selected team dedicated to the development of a program to combat terrorism and violent extremism. In recognition of Braden’s expertise in this area, he has spoken at numerous events, to include a national violent extremism conference, he is an active advisory board member on CVE through COPP with the Police Executive Research Forum, and he’s has helped to develop similar programs in other jurisdictions around the country. Braden regularly presents at the Center for Homeland Defense and Security at the Naval Postgraduate School. Additionally, he was presented with a Unit Exemplary Service award in recognition of his actions.
Braden’s prior law enforcement responsibilities include service as a Field Training Officer in one of the most high crime and diverse areas of his jurisdiction. He was also assigned to an investigative and enforcement squad requiring overt and covert surveillance, preparation and execution of search warrants, and the cultivation of confidential informants.
Braden attended Xavier University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology. He has attended numerous specialized courses of instruction related to government contracting, firearms, tactics, critical infrastructure assessment and protection, counter-terrorism, investigations, forensic interviewing and search warrant preparation, emergency vehicle operations, and executive protection.
Braden has been with PFC since 2005 and is currently the Vice President of Corporate Operations. In this role with the PFC Group of Companies, he oversees critical business functions to include human resources, policies and procedures, quality assurance, and special projects. Additionally, Braden is responsible for overall federal compliance and GSA contract administration, with PFC receiving consecutive highest-level ratings on mandatory federal audits.
