Brad Macfarlane brings to PFC a diverse and uniquely qualified background of instructional capabilities and operational expertise. Brad’s professional career began with a Bachelors Degree in International Studies (law concentration) from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then moved into a law enforcement career starting with a mid-sized city police department and then a sheriff’s office covering a diverse cross-section of urban and rural needs. He currently serves in the training division as a supervisor for a state law enforcement agency in the Western United States. Brad’s current responsibilities include the training of new officers and internal investigations.

Brad’s career has included positions in highway interdiction, investigations and as patrol supervision. In recognition of his excellence, Brad was previously deputized with the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force targeting dangerous fugitives. Additionally, Brad was also a member of the area’s regional SWAT team as an operator. During this period he was involved in numerous critical incidents and performed in roles that included breacher, scout and entry team leader.

Brad is a POST certified instructor and routinely provides in-service training to commissioned law enforcement personnel in defensive tactics, firearms, arrest & control, combatives, physical fitness, street tactics, and active shooter response. Additionally, Brad is a Level 1 CrossFit Instructor, fitness trainer, and grappling competitor.

Brad serves the PFC Group of Companies as an instructor supporting PFC Training and a Protection Agent for PFC Safeguards projects in Utah and surrounding states.
